Our most deeply personal project to date. 48 Millswood is a multi-award-winning home by boutique builder Klemm Homes, blending modern farmhouse charm with sustainable design. Recognised with multiple HIA awards, the SA Life People’s Choice Award, and the 2022 Australian Kitchen of the Year, it reflects a commitment to both beauty and performance. The home pairs steep gables and simple forms with natural materials like timber, metal, and Adelaide Hills sandstone. Arched details and curved walls flow from inside to out, where a curved pool and custom fencing extend the home’s sculptural quality. Passive design elements such as vented cavities, double glazing, enhanced insulation, and lightweight cladding support year-round comfort. 48 Millswood is a thoughtful alternative to the standard build, showing how sustainability, craft, and design can elevate the way we live.
